Definitions
Client: any professional or legally competent natural person within the meaning of Articles 1123 et seq. of the French Civil Code, or any legal entity, who visits the Site covered by these terms.
Content: all elements making up the information present on the Site, including text, images, and videos.
User: any internet user connecting to or using the above‑named site.
Personal Data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined by Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). The terms "processing," "controller," "processor," and "sensitive data" have the meanings the GDPR gives them.
1. About the Site
Pursuant to Article 6 of French Law No. 2004‑575 of 21 June 2004 (the Loi pour la Confiance dans l'Économie Numérique, "LCEN"), users of the website edokko.design, owned by LE CORRE Jérémie, are informed of the identity of the parties involved in its creation and maintenance:

2. Terms of Use
The Site constitutes a creative work protected under the French Intellectual Property Code and applicable international regulations. The Client may not, under any circumstances, reuse, assign, or exploit for their own benefit all or part of the Site's elements or works.
Use of the edokko.design website implies full and complete acceptance of the terms of use described below. These terms are subject to modification or addition at any time, and users of edokko.design are invited to consult them regularly.
This site is normally accessible to users at all times. edokko.design may nonetheless decide to interrupt access for technical maintenance, and will endeavor to inform users in advance of the dates and times of any such intervention. The edokko.design website is updated regularly by LE CORRE Jérémie.
Likewise, this legal notice may be modified at any time; it remains binding on the user, who is invited to refer to it as often as possible to stay informed.
3. Description of Services
The edokko.design website exists to present Edokko, the personal brand of LE CORRE Jérémie, and its products. LE CORRE Jérémie strives to provide information on edokko.design that is as accurate as possible.
However, he cannot be held liable for omissions, inaccuracies, or outdated information, whether resulting from his own actions or from third‑party partners who provide such information.
All information provided on edokko.design is for guidance only and is subject to change. Furthermore, the information appearing on edokko.design is not exhaustive. It is provided subject to any changes made since it was first published.
4. Technical Limitations
The website cannot be held liable for material damage related to its use. Furthermore, the user agrees to access the site using up‑to‑date equipment, free of viruses, and an up‑to‑date, latest‑generation browser.
5. Intellectual Property and Infringement
LE CORRE Jérémie owns the intellectual property rights to, or holds the rights of use over, all elements accessible on edokko.design, including text, images, graphics, logo, icons, sound, and software. Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, or adaptation of all or part of the Site's elements, by any means or process whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorization of LE CORRE Jérémie.
Any unauthorized use of the Site or any of the elements it contains will be considered an act of infringement and prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of Articles L.335‑2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
6. Limitation of Liability
LE CORRE Jérémie acts as the publisher of the Site. LE CORRE Jérémie is responsible for the quality and accuracy of the Content he publishes.
LE CORRE Jérémie cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage to the user's equipment when accessing edokko.design, resulting either from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications indicated in Section 4, or from the occurrence of a bug or incompatibility.
LE CORRE Jérémie likewise cannot be held liable for indirect damage resulting from the use of edokko.design.
LE CORRE Jérémie reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content posted on the Site that would violate applicable French law, in particular provisions relating to data protection.
Where applicable, LE CORRE Jérémie also reserves the right to pursue the civil and/or criminal liability of the user, particularly in the event of racist, abusive, defamatory, or pornographic content, regardless of the medium used (text, photograph, etc.).
7. Personal Data
7.1 Controller
The controller of the Personal Data processed through the Site is Jérémie Le Corre, who can be reached at j.lecorre@edokko.design for any question about this section.
7.2 What Is Processed, and Why
The Site has no account, no contact form and no newsletter sign‑up. It processes Personal Data in two ways when you visit it:
- Serving the Site: to deliver each page and keep the Site running and secure, Vercel, the host, processes the technical data of each request, such as the IP address and the browser. Legal basis: LE CORRE Jérémie's legitimate interest in providing a working and secure Site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Audience measurement: how the Site is used, measured with Umami, an open‑source tool run by LE CORRE Jérémie, in order to better understand that use and improve the Site's content. It records the pages you view (their address without anything after it), the site you came from (its domain only), your device, browser, screen size and language, your approximate location (country, region and city), and certain actions: following a link to a social network or out of an article, sharing an article, changing the language. Your IP address is used only for a moment, to work out that location and, without its last byte, an anonymous visit identifier through one‑way hashing with a secret that changes regularly, and Umami never keeps it. edokko.design has no way to trace this identifier back to a visitor's identity, nor to follow them from one site to another. Legal basis: LE CORRE Jérémie's legitimate interest in understanding how the Site is used, to improve it (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You can opt out, as described in 9.2. The actions recorded may evolve alongside the Site's features; no future change will involve lifting the anonymity described above or collecting directly identifying data (name, email address, etc.).
If you write to j.lecorre@edokko.design, your address and your message are processed to answer you, and kept as long as needed to do so. Legal basis: LE CORRE Jérémie's legitimate interest in answering the messages he receives (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
The Site uses no advertising and no tracking beyond the audience measurement above, makes no automated decision about you, and does not profile you. It collects no "sensitive data" and receives no information about you from other sources. Nothing is sold or shared beyond the processors below.
7.3 Recipients and Processors
Personal Data is only accessed by LE CORRE Jérémie and by the processors that run the Site, each for its own part:
- Vercel Inc. (United States), the host, which serves the Site and therefore processes the technical data of each request.
- Neon, which stores audience measurement data in a database located in the European Union.
- Umami, the audience measurement software, is not a company: it is run by LE CORRE Jérémie, served by Vercel and stores its data with Neon in the European Union. Its data goes to no one else.
- Google (Google Workspace), through which messages sent to j.lecorre@edokko.design are received and stored.
7.4 Transfers Outside the European Union
Vercel is based in the United States, and Google may process messages there. Both are certified under the EU‑U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognizes as ensuring an adequate level of protection. Vercel's terms of service and Google's data processing terms, which set how each processes personal data, are published on their websites.
7.5 How Long Data Is Kept
Vercel's logs of each request are kept for one hour. Audience measurement data is kept for 24 months, then deleted. A message sent by email is kept as long as needed to answer it.
7.6 Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the French Loi Informatique et Libertés, you have the right to access your Personal Data (Article 15), to have it corrected (Article 16) or erased (Article 17), to restrict its processing (Article 18), to object to its processing (Article 21), and to give instructions about what happens to it after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to j.lecorre@edokko.design, saying what you are asking for. An identity document is requested only if there is reasonable doubt about who is making the request (GDPR Article 12(6)). Since audience measurement data is tied to no name or email address and Vercel's logs last one hour, it may not be possible to find the data that concerns you (GDPR Article 11); if so, you will be told.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (https://www.cnil.fr/en/).
8. Security and Incidents
The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to Personal Data is limited to LE CORRE Jérémie and the processors above, and all reasonable measures are taken to protect it against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Should a breach affecting Personal Data occur, LE CORRE Jérémie would inform the people affected, through a notice on the Site if they cannot be reached directly, and the CNIL where the law requires it, as soon as possible, with the measures taken.
9. Hyperlinks, Cookies, and Tags
9.1 Hyperlinks
Inbound Links
edokko.design permits hyperlinks to any of its pages, provided that they open in a new window and are presented unambiguously, in order to avoid:
- any risk of confusion between the linking site and the owner of this Site;
- any misleading presentation, or one contrary to applicable law.
Edokko reserves the right to request the removal of a link if it considers that the source site does not comply with these rules.
Outbound Links
The edokko.design website contains a number of hyperlinks to other sites, put in place with the authorization of LE CORRE Jérémie. However, LE CORRE Jérémie is unable to verify the content of the sites thus visited, and therefore assumes no liability in this regard.
edokko.design disclaims all liability for, and is not bound by, third‑party resources referenced via hyperlinks on the Internet, whether as to their content or their relevance.
9.2 Cookies and Audience Measurement
edokko.design does not set any cookies — essential, analytical, marketing, or personalization — and therefore does not display a cookie consent banner.
Functional Local Storage
The Site stores only, in the User's browser local storage (localStorage/sessionStorage, not a cookie), the preferences strictly necessary for the interface to function: display theme (light/dark), the grain visual effect, and page‑load animation state. To this is added, only where the User has asked for it, their opt‑out from audience measurement described below. This information stays on the User's device, is never transmitted to edokko.design or to any third party, and does not require consent under applicable regulations, as it serves purposes strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the User.
Audience Measurement (Umami, Self‑Hosted)
edokko.design measures its traffic using Umami, an open‑source analytics tool that it self‑hosts, served from its own domain name rather than a third party's.
Umami does not set any cookies. What it records, why, and for how long is set out in Sections 7.2 to 7.5.
edokko.design does not use any session‑recording tool or heatmap: this feature, although technically available in Umami, is deliberately disabled.
You can opt out of audience measurement with this switch. Your choice stays in this browser, on your device only. If your browser asks sites not to track you (Do Not Track), no audience measurement happens.
Social Media Sharing Links and Buttons
The Site displays links to LE CORRE Jérémie's personal accounts (Instagram, Bluesky, LinkedIn) as well as article‑sharing buttons (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Reddit, copy link). These links and buttons do not themselves set any cookie on the User's device: a click simply opens the relevant social network or its share dialog in a new tab, or copies the page's address to the User's clipboard. Once on the social network's own site, the User is subject to that site's own privacy and cookie policy, over which edokko.design has no control.
9.3 Internet Tags
As of today, edokko.design does not use any internet tags ("tags," action tags, invisible pixels, or tracking GIFs) deployed through a third‑party advertising or analytics partner. The Site's only audience measurement is the one described in Section 9.2: Umami, deployed and administered by edokko.design, with no third‑party analytics partner and no transfer of traffic data to such a provider.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any dispute relating to the use of edokko.design is governed by French law and falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
