Product designer by day. Edokko is what I build in the evenings, and what I write about while I build it. I trained as a lawyer and moved to design in 2020. The rigour came with me — structure first, then the details that actually matter. I design it, I code it, and I get the branding wrong at least once before it works. Japanese culture runs underneath all of it: restraint, balance, and the idea that nothing is ever quite finished.
